The year is nearly at an end.  Hallelujah!  We certainly had another year full of adventure and the Holidays were no different.  Christmas is one of the best times for Horror, in our opinion anyway, and so we filled our Holiday season with frights.

Here's The 12 Things of Christmas Horror that filled our stockings;

1.   We watched KRAMPUS ! Listen to episode 23 for our thoughts on this new Christmas classic.

54 years ago on November 22, 1963 President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas.  Everyone, including you and I, have our theories and speculations about that fateful day.  Did Oswald act alone? Was Jack Ruby part of the conspiracy?  Was there a 4th shot?  I certainly don't know! But sometimes, the simplest explanation is the answer.

Justine and I watched The Dead Zone,...

It's been ten days since Halloween ended and we're still in mourning.  The candy corn,  Jack O'Lanterns, and endless horror TV has left us.  But in spirit and our hearts it's always All Hallows Eve.

Our Halloween started early.  We got in the festive mood at the beginning of September when we ran in the Zombie 5k!   Shortly After we went o...

As we drove over the Potomac River, on a brightly sunny day, we couldn't get over the giddy feeling of being in the vicinity of where one of our favorite horror films, The Exorcist , was filmed.

This journey was the major highlight of our road trip adventure to see my dad in Winchester, VA .  We drove two days to get to my pops and journeyed out from there to visit Georgetown in D.C. (about an hour away...

If you  need an example of what stepping outside your comfort zone looks like, look no further!

We read about this Zombie 5k,  located in Muskogee OK at the Castle of Muskogee,  months ago and thought "Let's train and do this!" Well...we didn't train, but we did it anyways!

We drove 2.5 hours full of anticipation.  We really didn't know what to expect.  Could we finish?  We knew we would have 3 ribbons and if we finis...

After our last epic road trip, to South Dakota, we wanted to keep things local. Well, localish.  We drove 3 hours to drive up the "Worlds Highest Hill" in Poteau OK.

This attraction, known as Cavanal Hill (or Cave Anal, as it became known to us, because maturity!),  is something we have heard about for a while, and we thought, "geez,  I wonder if this Hill Has Eyes? "

We drove through a downpour to get there, which really s...

So, I'm a month behind on posting.  It's not your fault, I promise! ;)

It's just a testament to the fun and busy schedules we live.

Ok, so we got the hell out of dodge (OKC) in July to have a wonderful Independence Day adventure in South Dakota outlaw country!

The drive through Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota was vast and glorious!  We were definitely in the Great Plains!  Corn galore!

We rolled into town (Custer,SD) an...

This blog post comes several weeks late. Sorry!  June's been a hectic month, good and bad. But here we are!

Last month, we had the pleasure to go see John Waters perform in Ada, Oklahoma.  Ada is a small, farming/college town in rural Oklahoma.  We found it a bit odd that this is where Mr. Waters would be , but it also added to the excitement!  would the locals warm up to his brand of humor?  Would he be run out of town w...

The high of Texas Frightmare Weekend is fading and WE are left with a feeling that can best be described as post holiday blues.  All three days of the convention, starting May 5th and ending the 7th, were inspiring and exciting.

For horror fans like we are  there is nothing better than coming together, with like minded people, to fellowship over all things creepy, gory,  and spooky!

April Showers bring ...lots of fun if you're in a Cabin In The Woods!

We've looked forward to this Episode since February!

We finally found a suitable Cabin for our Episode 14: The Cabin In The Woods road trip!  Our adventure led us to the outskirts of Branson, Missouri.  After 6 hours of interstates, windy mountain highways, and gravel roads, we made it!

We checked into Cabin number 3 ,...
